Excellent Series for Math Enthusiasts and Everyone Else!

I laugh at the "contains spoiler" alert as this series of shorts is delightfully unpredictable. No "spoilers" could do damage! The humor in 'Math Warriors' can be laugh-out-loud funny or wickedly quiet; the characters are developing along with their story lines; and the mathematical information contained can be for beginner through advanced. Clearly, much thought has gone into the writing, production, acting and direction of this series. Plus it inspires to think along more mathematical lines. In fact, I enjoyed "Pi Day" (3/14) ALL the more because of 'Math Warriors'. To honor the great Roger Ebert, Thumbs UP!

Funny and smart!

Written for savvy and intelligent viewers, you don't have to love or know math to enjoy this novel "mockumentary".

The characters in this fast paced comedy have continued to develop with each season. The math is interesting and integrated so well that you will get the jokes even if you cannot always explain the math and you will also find yourself learning some math that you may not have known before.

The basic plot revolves around Felicia Roberts and Feng Wang, both of the Yale Funky Functions (the fictional Yale Math Team), and their adventures and rivalry as the team and its quirky band of mathematicians prepare to challenge rivals such as Harvard.

Along the way, egos clash, novel ways of paying tuition must be explored, new team members must be recruited, Felicia's "Prime Number Strategy" must be upheld, Feng's ukelele gets a workout, and the Funky Functions take their act on the road.

Excellent work, excellent viewing

I have watched this show from the beginning and the progress of not only the storyline and characters as they develop but the production values as well. It's thoughtful, funny and informative. Who could ask for anything more in "infotainment". Since I grew up LOVING math myself (and still do) it has personally hit home several times. I also think it is well-cast and each actor brings a special quality in a way that I can't imagine any other actor playing these roles. Math Warriors should be required watching in schools, especially for young women who love math and science and sometimes feel strange because of it. I've turned my 14 year old niece onto it and she loves it. I give it my HIGHEST recommendation.
