a mighty short film

I was lucky enough to see this film recently at the London City Film Festival and what a treat it was. Who is Afraid of the Big Black Wolf is a wonderful film and I really enjoyed watching it. You quickly forgot that you were watching a film as the story unfolded and it was a beautiful poetical journey into Europe's past. All the performances were strong but none more so than the film's young 'star' who acted with incredible maturity and who carried off a part which was integral to the film but which had very few lines. The film looked amazing and the camera work was superb. I urge you all to look out for it on the film festival circuit and it would not surprise me at all if the film picked up a few awards on the way. In fact I think it won 'best film' at the film festival which I saw it. A huge congratulations to the cast and crew. Short films are never easy and this was a mighty big film that had all of us watching enthralled.
