Amazing experience!
dxgbzwk28 March 2023
Turning the local ingredients into exceptional meals, Chef Kristen visits far flung locations and restaurants that offer her (and us) opportunities to experience places and food's most of us would never otherwise have seen.

Her honest approach and openness to the location and food creates amazing experiences and dishes that you'll wish you could taste, even the outrageous ones.

My only complaint is that there are only 4 episodes! I want more of everything she gave us and hopefully we will get another season or something else like this.

Join Chef Kristen on this culinary adventure like you've never seen.

Underrated MUST WATCH

Warning: Spoilers
First watching this series I never heard of Kristen Kish, but I am so glad that I had watched this series, she's very passionate going to spots " at the very end of the world " I love it so much! The first two episodes were really great but the third one with the southern Maine farm to table episode really lacked passion not from Kristen Kish herself but Carolyn they didn't really talk much neither did the guy, Kristen's journey and finding out how to transform and create unique dishes really is inspiring. I want more episodes and am now a fan of Kristen Kish keep continuing this amazing series!!

I WANT TO SEE MORE! The fresh, fresh food, the travel to the beautifuul places, the creativity of the chefs, the presentations, the adventure! My favorite scene was when they went to the glacier to get the ice that pops for the cocktails! I want one! Also how excited she got when she found that edible seaweed in the oyster beds & she knew several ways to use it creatively! And how kind & heplful she was -put her chef's ego aside to Really be a part of things. Im finding that my own cooking has become more creative & enjoyable because of thiss show & i am inspired to combine unusual flavors & try different garnishes etc. This is the most creative cooking show I've ever seen!

FAKE SHOW, FAKE CHEF
Hokum1327 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Starts with trying to establishing the host's street credibility by having her try to drive a jeep she's obviously never driven before. However, it's soon abandoned because the road to the remote restaurant requires them to hike in. A bit later the "chef" TV host is prompted to butcher a chicken WHICH SHE HAS NEVER DONE BEFORE (and she claims 15+ years as a professional chef?) This isn't an exotic animal... it's just an ordinary chicken. When the meal is prepared they serve a dozen guests that magically appear - having arrived easily enough by the road that leads directly to the restaurant. Such inauthentic non-reality TV is pathetic and additionally insulting that its presented by National Geographic. Shame on them.
