Been watching both romcoms and teen flicks since the 1950s and I have never seen such writing.
Which is doubly amazing when you consider that even now Hollywood produces at least two major teen comedies a year and not one is as polished as this show.
There are themes and tropes I have never seen before. The idea of a boyfriend staying over is new. The séance in the middle of a sleepover is is clever. The cast continues to shine. Desi Lydic continues to steal all her scenes, appealing to both sexes I suspect.
Casting former brat pack member Anthony Hall is a casting coup.
