For Love and Money--and Fun!
atlasmb18 July 2013
I watched the two episodes they aired so far on The CW. If you like The Dating Game, you will probably like Perfect Score. Although they both purport to be about dating, they are really comedies.

Think The Dating Game meets match.com. There are two contestants who know each other. They try to choose the person they are most compatible with among 10 members of the opposite gender (though they could mix it up with other combinations later). Before the show starts, each of the 10 is given a score (corresponding with a dollar amount) based upon how compatible they are with each of the contestants.

In the end, the contestant who chooses the person with the higher value for him/her gets that amount of money and a date with the person chosen.

But it's all about fun. Contestants try to weed out those they are not compatible with by asking silly, Dating-Game-style questions. There are also stunts to help the contestants make their decisions.

Do people really know who they are most compatible with? There are some answers, but mostly it is about fun. And I thought the show was pretty funny. The host does a good job of keeping it quirky and light.
