Sweet memories of the childhood
mikhail-pasichniuk17 October 2013
For the people who grew up in the 90ies on the post-USSR area, the Dendy console was, mostly, the first glance at video gaming at all. The death of the USSR, the economical collapse of Russia, Ukraine and other countries, who were now lone by themselves - all these reasons made video games a rare and expensive pleasure - but Dendy, a pirate clone of NES, gave all these kids a chance to try the video games out - and, at a reasonable price.

In this documentary, Pavel recalls the first feelings of the very first video games, the problems, that occurred, many of these problems were caused by the pirate origination of consoles and games for it. But the film itself brings a sweet, light feeling of nostalgia, for those who played the console, who experienced the same feelings, same problems, who played same games.. . For those who did own a Dendy console, it is not just a documentary film - it is a travel back in time, in their childhood.

Thank you, Pavel, for bringing back these sweet memories.
