Warning: Spoilers
Jesse Tyler Ferguson is awful, so seeing him get "the big name treatment" in this episode was disappointing, but he was not as bad as it could have been. I feel like the whole reality TV angle is way too played out at this point though, and the story did not even seem to make that much sense.

It looks like they are not going to abandon the show's central concept of Elsbeth knowing who it is immediately every time and trying to trap them though. I wish she would explore other characters too, but it feels like that is not the master plan for what the writers have with this show and their goals this year.

Dragged down by some very bad acting

This episode would have been a campy good time, except that Jesse Tyler Ferguson's dreadful acting totally ruins it. The whole show is fun and silly, although its weak point is that some of the acting goes past being silly and enters community theatre territory. But Ferguson really takes the cake, basically sounding like he's doing his first script reading through the whole episode. It's a shame because the Lavish Ladies are way more convincing and fit the vibe of the show. It also just wasn't the best written episode, with a pretty flimsy motive for murder and pretty much nothing about it being convincing.

I'm crushed.

Warning: Spoilers
I'm crushed by how bad this show is. I loved Elsbeth on the Good Wife. This show demonstrates how important it is to have a strong cast around the goofy characters.

The girl who plays the cop assigned to follow Elsbeth around is very strong, but the constant Elsbeth is tres annoying.

This show is the traditional Reality Show episode that every show resorts to eventually.

The guy from Modern Family chomps on scenery and prances around until you pray for an electricity outage.

Three episodes in and I want to watch anything else. In fact, I'd rather watch hours of Ms Rachel than another second of this drek.
