This sequel for "Aquarelas do Brasil", also made by Jomard Muniz de Britto, shouldn't be considered as a continuation of such work since the text is
basically the same from that short video experience. But the images changed. This time, he brought back the mysterious collage of images he did in the early
1980's in another short film, the brilliant "Olho Neles", which intercut images of eyes, Glauber Rocha's funeral, a wall with the film title painted, and
quick shots from pornographic films (blink and miss, all very graphic). On that film there was some narrations by Glauber and Caetano Veloso about the
state of the arts in Brazil and things like that; here it's all about Portuguese phrases later translated into French about Brazil not being the narrator's
nation but instead it's an horror film, it's a cancer, it's everything that's bad and crushes and destroys society little by little. Despite bringing
the intriguing memorable images from a better film, this didn't improve the experience that I already had with the first "Aquarelas", it just made it less
painful to endure. 5/10.
