- A male is seen shirtless on two or three occasions. A couple are caught twice; once while kissing and once after having sex, while the female is wearing nothing but a sheet.
- While traveling into the past, a character mentions her boyfriend and her grandfather, who she is visiting there, says he doesn't want to hear the word "sex" out of her mouth.
- A teenage boy and girl kiss on multiple occasions. A teenage boy and girl start to kiss passionately and are caught by a parent, who scolds them. A teenage boy rips open a girl's blouse and we see her bra. They kiss and have sex. No nudity is shown. A girl is being sized by a tailor and is shown in a bra.
Violence & Gore

- A man is stabbed in the very beginning and a minute amount of blood is shown, but coming from his mouth (internal bleeding). Later on, there is a swordfight that gets quite heated.
- A character is instructed to forcibly draw blood from two other characters, and he is later struck on the head with a cane in order to prevent this. He sustains a minor head wound with minimal bleeding but is knocked unconscious.
- A man is stabbed. No blood or gore is shown.

- A man smokes a cigar in a scene from the 50's, blowing it into a girl's face by accident. Later, the girl claims she was smoking to cover up for the fact that she was in the 1950s. A boy later makes a caustic remark about her needing a cigar to calm her nerves.
- A teenage girl (slightly underage in the present time) becomes inebriated at a party in the 18th century (where everyone else is also drinking) and her companion refers to her as "totally sloshed". She is shown hungover the next morning. She's referred to once as looking like a "tipsy burlesque dancer".
- Teens are shown drinking (at a legal age in the country of the film).
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- A man is stabbed. An intense swordfight lasts two or three minutes. A girl is telepathically choked (he doesn't actually touch her) by a man who is bossing her around, but he stops on his own.
- A heated argument between a couple lasts several minutes. They both end up yelling and he kicks a stack of things over. A girl uses hairspray to start a fire in the 18th century.
- A character uses hairspray to start a fire during a fight.

- After catching two teenagers after having sex, a character makes a snide remark about "rolling in the hay". In the same scene, another character says, "It must have been very hot" in regards to their being partially undressed. The boy responds, "The hottest summer of the 1950s".
