Periodically throughout this episode, we see Jim Ross and Steve Williams at a "JR is Raw" party at a local fraternity, presumably to mock WCW's Nitro parties. The show opens with the Corporation in the ring cutting a promo on Steve Austin, until Austin drives up in a beer truck and sprays them with beer. The first match is Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett defending the Tag Team Championship against the Brood. Lucas interviews the New Age Outlaws. Intercontinental Champion Road Dogg battles Hardcore Champion Billy Gunn in a title unification match. We see a teaser for Beaver Cleavage. Sable faces Ivory. Mankind takes on the Rock. Kane is scheduled to take on Goldust, but the match doesn't happen. Shane McMahon battles X-Pac in a street fight. The Undertaker takes on the Big Bossman. The main event is Paul Wight versus Steve Austin.
