Rose and Maloney continue to hunt for the real killer of Lindsay, still believing that David is innocent, however she still has a score to settle with Jonathan Rothman.
I was taken with the first episode, I was tripped by this second one, even better, slightly less focus on the two lead characters, and with more emphasis on the plot, this was terrific.
Even though there are two stories running concurrently, it never feels confusing or complex, so many modern day dramas are so heavy, so impossible to follow, there is genuinely none of that here.
The twist comes as a big surprise, an outcome I was not expecting. I liked that Rose and Maloney weren't exactly lovey dovey with one another, you can see it's a love hate relationship.
I love that The Inspector entertains Rose with a Spode tea set, back in the day they always had a quality tea set, I miss those days.
Why did this never have a commercial release? Thank goodness for YouTube.
9/10.
