The show opens with the Rock cutting a promo. Too Cool take on the Dudley Boyz. Kurt Angle faces Kane. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley makes an announcement regarding the status of the Intercontinental Championship. Chyna defends the Intercontinental Championship against Hardcore Holly. The Big Show defends the WWF Championship against Triple H. The Big Bossman and Prince Albert takes on Test, Mae Young and the Fabulous Moolah. The Acolytes have a match with the Mean Street Posse. We see three segments of a "movie" titled "Have a Bad Day", starring Dennis Knight as Mankind and Triple H as various characters (including a rather offensive Asian character, Dr. Hung Lo). Jeff Hardy faces Al Snow in a steel cage. The main event is the Rock versus the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac in a "You're Fired" handicap match.
