Good show, but problems with camera work.

This is an interesting and fascinating series. I especially like the "Strangest Inventions" episode. I really have only one critique. Let me set the stage. I once went to Beijing, China, on business. My host took me on a tour of the Great Wall. It was breathtaking, so I took a lot of pictures. No selfies because this was before smartphones. So my host took pictures of me with wondrous "Great Wall" backdrops. When I saw the pics, I had only one critique. My host got "artsy" and took the pictures at odd angles. I couldn't tell whether I was looking at the side of a mountain or the horizon.

My one critique of "World's Strangest" is the bump lens camera. If you watched this show, you know what I mean. Certain camera shots have a magnified "bump" in the center. This is neither artsy nor cute, just annoying. All in all, I like this show. But whoever thought up the bump shot, please stop. You're ruining the it.

problems with the camerawork?

My name is steve robson and i shot 3-4 episodes of the programme that you refer to.The bump i'm guessing is the tilt /shift lens ,employed sparingly at various intervals.Back in 2003 this lens (24mm and 48mm ) hadn't been widely adopted by TV yet, although the stills market had used it extensively.I ,personally think it did what the Series Producer wanted, namely to make the perspective of various wide shots look out of whack with reality-hence the title...World' s Weirdest. What lens would you have chosen?
