Finch believes Shaw may be in a refrigerated truck and Reese and Root head to the town of Maple, New York, last place where the vehicle was tracked down. They see a perfect small town and go to the police station to see the footage of the tollbooth. The Sheriff makes advances on Root and she abducts him. Reese and Root learn that a company called Carrow has bought the manufacturing plant of Maple and brought progress to the town manufacturing transponders. They look for Leslie Thompson, who seems to be the representative of Carrow in town, and abducts her to get inside the plant to see if Shaw is there. But soon they find what the plant is really manufacturing, and that Maple is submitted to an experiment of the Samaritan. Meanwhile, the Machine delivers the number of Albert Weiss, who owns a hardware store and occasionally travels to New York City. Fusco helps Finch following Weiss, and stumbles upon Dani Silva, who now works in the Gang Division. Fusco believes Weiss is a target based on his ordinary appearance, but she is focusing him for another reason, and he may be a perpetrator.
"M. I. A.", meaning Missing in Action, is another excellent episode of "Person of Interest". Reese and Root continue to search for Shaw, and they arrive at a perfect small town. They soon realize that the town is an experiment of the Samaritan to study human behavior and is also manufacturing neural implants. Now The Machine asks the team to stop searching Shaw. In the end, the box of the Schrodinger Cat is opened, and the viewer sees the fate of Shaw. The case of Fusco and Dani Silva is also great and well resolved. My vote is nine.
