This film was a very interesting watch. At first, I wasn't sure what I was watching, but as the story unfolded I was hooked. I was very impressed with the way the film was shot, it did a great job of making me comfortably uncomfortable. The art department hit a home run here. Everything from set design, props, wardrobe, etc… worked seamlessly with the cinematography to pull of the director(s) ambitious vision. The cast was very believable, which is saying something because these were certainly not typical roles. As the lead, Shannon Brown was intense and creepy as the "leader" of a pack of hillbilly cannibals. Again, the wardrobe, hair and make up was spot on as the entire cast delivered very honest performances with characters that I'm quite certain were a big stretch from roles they've played in the past. There isn't much not to like about this film. The direction seemed flawless, its pretty clear that the entire team was on the same page for this challenging and A typical piece.
