DEMON DOLLS is apparently a remake of an early 1990s horror film of the same name. Having watched it, you'll wonder why they bothered, because this piece of shot-on-video trash is totally without merit. It supposedly tells of an evil doll with the power to kill, but what it all amounts to is a bunch of goofball characters hanging out in somebody's bedroom plastered in posters.
This production has a deliberately retro feel which gives it a 1990s look. In fact, I could swear that it was filmed in the 1990s; perhaps they had access to an old analogue video camera. The demon doll is barely seen and mostly this is just grating, with embarrassing attempts at acting and a general sense of treading water.
