Cheesy Conversation Piece at Best
tamaradeniseoki26 May 2019
Lol I love trash low budget films like this bc it's obvious they're going to be terrible but far from a waste of time. Let's be real... all the acting is bad. All of it! However, I really appreciate seeing a young, all Black cast. The film is a conversation piece at best and is more of a laugh out loud comedy than a drama. It's a great grown up slumber party movie if you're sipping wine with your girls or if bae is out of town and you need to crack up to avoid feeling lonely. This is one of those movies where you laugh AT the characters rather than WITH them because ironically, no part of the film is meant to be taken seriously. It's cheesy, but I gave it an extra star because it somehow entertained me and made my night. I highly recommend if you're bored and need a laugh!

Pretty bad and not worth your time

Infidelity (2015) is a movie that I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows a married couple. The husband's cousin temporarily moves in with his fiancé and the cousin discovers he knows the wife. As the husband becomes more and more verbally abusive to the females in the house, the cousin forms a relationship with the wife that may go too far...

This movie is written and directed by Jenn Pinto (The Dirty 30) and stars Jason Weaver (ATL), Lauren McCarroll (Ray Donovan), Andre Boyer (For All Mankind) and Tiara Ashleigh (Dough Boys).

The storyline for this movie had some potential but the writing and acting is inconsistent. The dialogue is painful at times and even funny when it doesn't try to be. The storyline felt unrealistic and it felt like it was forcing the premise. A lot of this just felt like too much.

Overall, this is pretty bad and not worth your time. I would score this a 3/10 and recommend skipping it.

Absolutely Horrible acting-

Jason Weaver is the Only reason I watched this. I love his acting skills. However, not only was the acting by the other people awful, their lines were unrealistic. I have wanted to act for years, but failed to look into it, working jobs with consistent and guaranteed money. Anyway, I started to skip this movie only because of my aforementioned opinion. Thanks, Jason, for always making me laugh and keeping my interest.
