Oil rig!
tenshi_ippikiookami29 December 2016
This episode may remind some people of a similar environment in one of the Metal Gear Solid games (yes, with a little bit of imagination, probably). The ship's team has found that an oil rig is the place from where Valkyrie broadcasts its messages. And taking into account how Sean is using it to slander and defame the ship and its crew, well, Chandler will have to go on a trip again to check the place.

Action packed episode, with some nice twists, well developed plot, and making a great use of the oil rig as a location, "Valkyrie" is a great episode in this second season. Not very deep, no, but breathless, and with some surprising emotional moments that will make the characters grow and develop in the viewer's eyes. It gives live to a show to see the characters to be more than just shooting machines and flag-saluting creatures.

Warning: Spoilers
After the previous (episode) amok here is another one. If good guys will disappear in this rate and speed, the series will be over soon.

And there is an actor in each episode :D I mean a guy who is not the crew of the ship or a guy from the beach or not a doctor or an enemy with Irish accent but an actor. And than I remember that this is just a movie :D

Now to have the 600 minimum characters for the review I must add that the story is quite enjoyable sometimes unbelievable still not too complicated so one can follow without loosing interest or story line as I usually do with series.

It was a great idea to involve Tania Raymonde into the story.

Warning: Spoilers
Overall a good episode, sad to see some people go but what can you do?

My biggest issue with this episode was how they just completely skipped over the main event of the episode. The rhib team from the beach were heading to the oil rig to help fight off the attacking civilian boat. The helicopter arrived but was told to not to pick them up because of the danger posed by the gas leaks, they noticed that the gas leak came from the main valve and there were some explosions shown from far away and then it just faded to black.

Out of nowhere the helicopter that was told it was too dangerous to pick them up had picked them up, people were dying of unknown injuries that weren't ever shown on screen and everybody was just magically back on the ship including the rhib team. It just felt weird that the most impactful event of the entire episode happened completely off screen. Aside from that it was a solid episode.
