Young & Oh, Brother!
Prismark1023 July 2018
Another episode where you have pretence and misunderstandings. A theme that very much seems to be the premise of the second season of Young & Hungry.

We are introduced to Sofia's younger brother Benji who has got a job in the mayor's office in San Francisco. Meanwhile Josh has to throw a last minute gay bachelor party for Elliot.

Sofia pretends to be a high flyer to her brother, Gabi bakes a cake thinking Benji is still a little kid. When he shows up, Benji is all grown up with rippling muscles. Gabi is immediately attracted to him.

As Sofia and Benji are from devout Catholic families. Benji thinks Sofia is a virgin and she thinks her brother is straight, not the case when he is seen by Gabi dancing with guys in Elliot's party.

This was much improved from the previous episode, at least this one had some laughs.

Abi is losing me

Warning: Spoilers
In the previous episode gabi was (as always) a trash person. She is always so afraid of confrontation and or accept that she was in the wrong and now she is a sick person for seeing her best friend's brother (who she grew up with and saw as a kid for a long time) attractive and even the numerous disgusting words she throw at him.

I am not sure if I should continue after this. This kinda things freak me out so bad.

This is so normalized in this society and in hollywood is way too over used. Apparently the white feminism is to be attracted to young and sometimes brotherly young men as the men used to do it to women before in shows and movies. Yes a woman can do anything a man can, it doesn't mean they have to do everything.

I am tired of this storylines.
