- Trivia"return 0" is usually the last command before the program quits. It means that the code has executed without errors.
- GoofsWhile Finch is in the Federal Reserve building trying to destroy the only remaining copy of Samaritan inside an air-gapped computer, Samaritan escapes once again, sending a copy of itself to a Midtown building with an antenna to be sent to a Russian satellite. It wouldn't be possible to do since it was supposedly inside an air-gapped computer which would mean it would have no access to the outside world and completely unconnected from all networks.
- Quotes
The Machine: Harry, I remembered. It was a police officer. He had to notify a family of a death. The 35th notification he'd had to make over the years. And afterwards he said something that I remembered.
Younger Cop: You know it's true what they say. Everybody dies alone.
Older Cop: Sure. Everyone dies alone. But, if you *mean* something to someone... if you help someone... or loved someone... if even a single person remembers you... then maybe you never really die at all.
The Machine: You know I've made some mistakes. *Many* mistakes. But, we helped some people. Didn't we?
Harold Finch: Yes.
[firmly]
Harold Finch: Yes, we did.
- Crazy creditsThe standard opening sequence with Finch's (and during most of season 5, also Greer's) voiceover is absent. All that is left is the title card that appears after the first scene on the skyscraper roof with Finch.
