A lovely little film!

I saw Bus Stop on ShortsTV and I have to say this is probably the best short I've ever seen. The two main actors - Sam Underwood & Valorie Curry - are married in real life and their chemistry really shines through in this film. It's a beautiful little slice of serendipity where both have just lost something important: Sam - his job, Val - her relationship. In 8 minutes we see the two form a lovely relationship filling in the gaps for each other. The ending is......amazing.

The acting by Sam and Val is first rate as is the dialogue. Director Jamie Sims uses close-ups to great effect.

Do yourself a favor and watch this wonderful film.

"Bus Stop" is a brilliant short film that easily deserves all of the recognition and awards it has received over the past few months. The writing is unforced, the characters are relatable, the acting is beautiful, and the story is moving. The beauty of a good short film is that it is able to capture your emotions and pull you into the story in only a few minutes. "Bus Stop" does just that. Within a minute, I was intrigued, invested, and I couldn't wait to see where this new friendship would lead. Sam Underwood and Valorie Curry have fantastic chemistry; their flirtation is effortless and refreshing, which is a true testament to their skills as actors and the skills of Jamie Sims, writer and director.

Overall, I would give this short 5 stars in a heartbeat. It is a lovely, simple romance that will leave you in the perfect balance between feeling completed, but also wanting more.
