Warning: Spoilers
"Freeze Day" was great if only because we got to hear Father Time being voiced by none other than comedian Jim Gaffigan! Yeah, I've seen so many cartoons it gets to the point I can recognize the celebrity voices. This episode features Star freezing time and being unable to get it back to normal. There's this one part where they look at various points in their life and it's cute to see how Star grew up as a cute little kid. All we see of Marco are how he's always had a huge crush on Jackie. He talks about how he nods to her every day. At the end of the episode, Marco gathers up the nerve to at least say hi to her. ****

"Royal Pain" has Star's father, a king, come down to live with Star and Marco. While not as good as the first episode, it still had many great moments, especially with how we see all the kings at the end. It's great to see King Pony Head! We see this sun king, Helios, who I swear resembles Pops from "Regular Show". I like how Star doesn't get the idea of how her relationship with her father is similar to Marco's relationship with her. Everyone leaves because their socks get wet at the end. Even King Pony Head does and he doesn't even have feet! ***1/2

If you have the time, why waste it?

In Freeze Day, it was cool to see Star freeze time so she and Marco wouldn't be late for school even if they walked, and when Marco looked upon his life when time was stopped, he realized he shouldn't keep waiting to talk to Jackie instead of nodding. The antics that Father Time got up to were hilarious, too. In Royal Pain, King River comes down to Star's house after Queen Moon banished him. With King River, Star ends up having a Star of her own who plays around inconsiderately, and then Star and River both realize the error of their ways after River has a party at the Diaz house and Helios comes to ruin it. They get rid of Helios and learn their lesson, and Star agrees to be more considerate of Marco when she wants to play.
