Warning: Spoilers
We end the first season of this great show with a great half hour episode! I admit that the beginning could have been better. It features Star and Marco briefly arguing and really, it doesn't go anywhere. The rest of the episode more than makes up for it as we have Marco being kidnapped by Toffee. Marco is seen without his red jacket for most of this episode and hey, it's something we rarely see in the show! So we get to see Toffee actually show off an angry or goofy face a few times. These are brief moments, but they're quite worth it.

I especially love this guy's voice. He's probably next to Bill Cipher for greatest Disney TV villain. Star finds herself teaming up with Ludo and it's funny at the end when he says they're no longer friends even though they were never ones to begin with. This episode features a major change as Star's wand has been damaged, something that will stay important to the plot. I love when Star's mother hugs her at the end when she thinks she's mad at her. Things have worked out, but everything's still pretty damaged. ****

Fantastic end to Season 1.

Star takes Marco on a dangerous mission to get a sandwich in another dimension. Marco doesn't like Star's irresponsibility and questions why they would even be friends in the first place. Despite their differences, Star still goes to save Marco on Mewni after he gets kidnapped by a Boo Fly. She forms an alliance with her former best enemies, Ludo and Buff Frog, to get Marco back from Toffee. However, Toffee is much more dangerous and serious than Ludo, and it is not easy for Star to get Marco out of his Plexiglas jail cell.

Wow...wow...wow.... Toffee really is twisted and smart. That's what makes him a good villain he is No chill and salty...I love him. His interaction with Marco is kinda cute and funny dialogue between the two. I think it's funny, but can we talk about how he was smiling as the wand was about to explode?!? It's obvious he wanted this and planned this whole thing and they left his suit there so I'm guessing he escaped. We all know he's alive now, but the question is when he was defeated a second time(I think) in battle for mewnie he did not fight back and walked away in victory until star blasted him and Ludo finished him off. Anyways great Show amazing actually. I could be 80 and still watch this.

A Really Great Finale

My only flaw is that the episode felt too short. But other than that, this easily the most flawless and best episode up until this point, as it creates a sense of intrigue for where the protagonists and antagonists go from here.
