I watched one episode and decided that on the strength of that, that it was not worth watching more. As the IMDB synopsis says, there are plenty of suspects for the murders but in the end, the assassin was a totally random person with a mental disorder introduced into the story at the last moment. There was no way that a viewer could guess his identity and he was found out somehow from a police database, which we viewers, of course, have no recourse to.
We had the usual collection of maverick cops, none of whom was convincing. An amiable drunk, a young woman taking risks to prove herself, the team's head not averse to a few shenanigans.
The final few minutes of the first episode from when the murderer was unmasked were utterly ludicrous. I don't want to get into spoilers, but why show a deadly syringe to your presumptive victim instead of using it, allowing them to get away?
I have seen some really excellent programmes from Czechia. This isn't one of them.
