Best episode to date.

Marcella is getting very close, despite the obstacles being put in her way by the powers that be.

I don't understand why I didn't enjoy Marcella first time round, I still think it was a little like warm to start, but it's definitely on fire now, this episode was terrific, the best yet, dramatic, high octane, and the ending was fantastic.

Ian Pulseton Davies was the standout, he's been good throughout, but here he was especially menacing, the ending was incredible, us she ever wrong?

Wonderful, 9/10.

Slow moving

A slower episode with, seemingly, a lot less going on. A faster pace would be better and fewer episodes might make things tighter and more interesting. A great scene when Marcella does a swab test. Hopefully, things will pick up in the next installment.

All About Cullen
Hitchcoc12 September 2016
An excellent episode. Marcella is getting closer and closer to the burning edge, but she still can't help but pursue the case that has haunted her. She has always suspected Cullen who is actively pursuing Maddie (Edith from Downton Abbey). He shows his viciousness in this episode, as he is now free from jail. Jason, who is in deep mourning, begins to act in the most irrational way. Other characters are portrayed as quite threatening. Jason keeps coming back to Marcella for tea and sympathy, but she begins to change her tune about wanting him back, although they are obviously having a physical relationship. Marcella comes to a dramatic conclusion as the episode ends that is going to set up the remainder of the series.
