Ten out of ten for sheer looks alone, but I'd just bet that even Hilary would cringe at the idiotic story-line of this early offering of hers. So she is hanging on to the ex's ratty old clothes, like yuck, baby, come on, ain't it fulla guy fleas? Now if he held on to somethin' of yours, baby chick, wow, that'd be different, but come on, he's a sweaty guy fella. But the foolish childish prank continues with her handing the shirt over to strangers and letting them wear it, snapping Polaroids, returning the shirt with the shots. So what? So that he could see he's being compared to a circus freak muscleman? Oh, come on, an old guy! Now, what she should have done for a real prank: Return the shirt, it's his favorite, he'd fall for it, wear it again, and a couple days later send him the pic of a mangy stray dog having used his shirt for beddy-byes. Now that would have had the guy's knickers in a knot for itchy days afterwards. But this way, it is an empty ineffectual inane prank for which she would obviously have had to go to considerable lengths to pull off to show she doesn't care, so counterproductive much?
Okay, but that's not really the point. What really matters is that Hilary is drop-dead gorgeous and looks straight out of MELROSE PLACE. At sixteen. Sweet sixteen with a look that no other young girl at that time could match. So smirk at her inane little music video, fact remains the kid is amazingly photogenic, the camera is absolutely in love with her. Okay, she knows it, and it shows, it's why so many love to hate her, but cast your petty jealousies aside, the kid has full-on appeal that few mortals ever were bestowed.
And at that tender age, she could be forgiven for appearing in something so dumb, because other teen choices are exactly as facetiously dumb as this.
