I loved the avant garde competition. Again, so many expectations and for the most part not disappointed.
I really like Ken's design. I can see why he won. I also liked what Dom did. Although not sure how avant garde it was. I simply loved the dress she made, would really wear it.
Kini's was not my thing. I was surprised he was in the top, I thought it was not good.
I liked Sam's lightness of the dress. I was just a bit disappointed because when I saw what was supposed to inspire him and knowing how talented he is I thought he would do much more. And what the hell is wrong with Ken? He just has a different taste than Sam, Sam is still awesome. I didn't plan to watch Under the Gunn but he makes me want to watch it and see more of his work.
I really liked Emily's dress. Would wear it. I like most of her designs so it was sad to see her go. But so close to the end of the competition it is hard not to lose somebody who is so great.
