"Starstruck" features Star meeting up with a celebrity back from Mewni. I knew that I had heard that character's voice from before but for the life of me, I couldn't remember where. I now know it was the same voice as the aunt from "Bob's Burgers"! Speaking of voices, this episode got really entertaining when we got to hear Mina's voice change while still having a pretty goofy appearance. Mina is a very entertaining character, but I really think she worked well enough for just this one episode. I love the joke where the police acknowledge that magic is real. ***1/2
"Camping Trip" is an episode about exactly what you'd think it would be about. Star and Marco's family go on one and Star is eager to see a geyser known as "Old Youthful". We get a surprise appearance by Star's king father, who tries to get them to the geyser one last time. He really does get to shine in this episode and while he's not a favorite character of mine or anything, I always love shows that have episodes focusing on all the characters. I knew he'd think that Marco was Star's boyfriend. Everyone should know that by now. ***1/2
