I just watched this. As someone from Texas, the over use of old cliché Texas stereotypes was just stupid. This is 2017. It's embarrassing to see on prime time national television. I suppose the writers think they are just so awesome not living in flyover country and such, but the writing is terrible.
The jokes are so predictable, so lame, they're just not funny.
And why do the two main characters talk in high pitched little girl voices? They're supposed to be grown women. It's like this show is supposed to be progressive but it comes off as backwards.
And i love the 18 year age difference between Kat Denning and the actor who plays her romantic interest. Taking it back old school with that.
It's an act of cosmic injustice that this show made it to syndication and making the creators rich, while I genius of the universe sit on my couch mocking it.
