What could i say.... the saddest, yet the best, episode of the series so far!
dylancrossman22 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
OK guys, i just watched the episode, time for me to discuss the saddest, yet maybe the best, episode i've ever seen! IF YOU DIDN'T SEE IT, DON'T CONTINUE READING SPOILERS INCOMING this is by far the saddest episode i've ever seen since the weirdmaggendion 3 episode from gravity falls. Sad as i mean by the feeling star has to go through, ship Starco or not, you got admit you feel bad for her . Now we know she likes Marco and she knows it for sure. Yes, she was Marco's wing-man since day 1 but i guess seeing Jackie and Marco looking at each other romantically, she didn't like the idea of Jackie+Marco anymore, she gotten jealous REAL quick, the feeling there is WAY TOO STRONG, the closest episode with the feels are the storm the castle and storm the castle as NO match against the Bon Bon episode. This episode got everything, it's an actual episode for both Starco and Jarco to enjoy! Despite the sadness and the fact the Jarco becomes a canon (temporarily i suppose) I honestly like the episode, this maybe my favorite episode in the series so far, I honestly can't tell you how many times i watched the episode i watched in 1 day compare to other episode, I kinda like the fact star finally opened her eyes about her feeling to Marco kinda not because of the feel. Ludo (finally) got the book of spells (i honestly forgot that Glossaryck is included in the book LOL), Janna come in more often, the intense for shippers of any kind is there, Marco and Jackie kissed (don't like the idea but congrats i guess), A lot of things from previous episode came back in the latest episode from Blood Moon Ball to the School field trip episode (kudos Daron for keeping up the story, honestly didn't expected it). IT JUST A BIG WHOOPIN STUFF IN ONE EPISODE! I strongly recommended the episode (as long you don't mind the feels and the fact Jarco becomes a canon so far), 10/10 stars on this. Great work Daron! Hope to see more episodes like this! P.S. congrats Daron, that episode lead the series to the #1 spot of trending searches on Tumblr, defeating Cars 3 and Fantastic Beast searches, i don't about you but that's quite an achievement

Really teasing episode. Looking forward for the aftermath

Since the very first episode of SVTFOE, Daron Nefcy has drawn the relationship between Star and Marco as a best friend. As season 2 went trough, the relationship between them got stronger and developed, and in episode "Sleepover", we got a clue that Star actually had a crush on Marco.

"Bon Bon the Birthday Clown" unfolded as Marco finally got along with Jackie to the dance party after troubled for sometime (actually she asked Marco to the dance, not him) and Star, with Janna resurrected the dead clown after a decade. At first Star was really happy that he finally get together with his crush, but after she saw Jackie, with her sea foam dress and Marco, with his suit, gazed together, she felt ignored and anxious.

As the time past, her anxious became worse, as she distracted by her thought about Jackie and Marco, and eventually used the dark magic called "All Seeing-eye" to spy them. Witnessed how Jackie and Marco really enjoyed their moment together, she became envy and released a evil blast that boomed the skateboard's wheel . by the time she realized the event she had created, the "clown" Ludo existed with his minions and attacked Janna and Star with his own wand. while she beat his minions and got ready to suck Ludo into Black hole spell, Jackie and Marco came to make Star jealous and put herself into danger by unintentionally blast a green hole that would suck her. Marco let Star's spell book and Glossaryk to be stolen by Ludo just to save Star from being sucked.

This episode is really solid in every aspect. I love how Daron developing the relationship between Star and Marco slow but steady, not getting rushed to make them shipped, and creating the conflict to get more teasing. I love how the continuity of the previous episode affect this episode very well ( like the Blood Moon that made Marco thinking about Star and interfered the first kiss, or the Ludo's successful revenge to Star after his long journey before the battle). I also love the plot got unexpected twist, like we never knew Ludo would come and collide with Star and eventually steal the spell book. and I love how this episode will affect the upcoming episodes and tease the fans before new episodes arrived in February, including the relationship of Star and Marco.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes, and this tease me well

My Favorite SVTFOE Episode

Everything about this episode is perfect, especially since I'm a supporter of the Jackie/Marco Relationship, and don't get me started on ending of the episode, along with the fact that this episode started off on a weird but interesting note that made the episode even better. Everything that was built up throughout Season 2 just exploded in this episode.

The best episode ever!

Warning: Spoilers
Well, this episode is now my favorite in the entire series so far. I think it's easy to say that this show has grown its beard. That means it's really getting good. Here we have Marco and Jackie finally go out on a date while Star and Janna try to bring back a clown ghost. Trust me, it's better than it sounds. The scenes with Jackie and Marco are so tender and sweet. She talks about how she's glad he always gets back on his feet after being defeated. Marco behaves so realistically like a teenager here. He's still not nervous to the point where he messes things up.

Star uses a spell to spy on him. I am simply amazed at how powerful this scene is. Star sees Marco and Jackie having fun on their date and just look at how Star is crushed because she's afraid to admit to Marco that she has a crush on him too and is jealous of Jackie. She accidentally hurts them and is terrified by what she has done. Marco finally gets his first kiss with Jackie but then he looks at the Moon. He remembers when he danced with Star under the red Moon which was said to bind their souls for all eternity. He is clearly questioning if Star is the one he truly loves.

A huge important thing happens as Ludo manages to achieve his goal of stealing Star's spellbook. Star is crying and Marco comforts her. We realize she's really crying about how she's sad Marco has found a better girlfriend than her. Jackie is a wonderful girl herself, but it's so strange because I don't want her to be with Marco. This is the kind of romantic stuff I love in fiction. Will Star be Marco's true love? And what will happen to Jackie? ****
