The new recruits

First of all it needs to be said that this is not the television series. Other reviewer got it wrong. This is a little add-on that shows us how three new S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are recruited. "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Academy" includes a total of five episodes (between 3 and 5 minutes, you can watch the entire thing in one sitting of approximately 20 minutes), basically a prologue, three challenges and an epilogue. The first is the introduction to the potential agents, then we see what the trio needs to do in order to be accepted and finally we see them at teh set. there obviously is a great deal of acting included and I am sure it is all scripted with the exceptions of episode 5 partially maybe, so don't think you could do the same if you are a fan of the series. I personally only liked episode two, when the woman has to fulfill her challlenge. The other ones on the plane and in the car don't do too much for me I must say. The first is tolerable, the last is just boosting the show and telling us when to watch and see the new recruits. I also think they could/should have let one fail maybe, perhaps increase it to six episodes this way. So if you love the show, watch it if you want, but even then you are not missing too much. My suggestion is to skip this one.

I read that this was a mix of reality tv and canon to Agents of Shield. After watching all 5 episodes, I can confirm.... there's no lore in this at all. Purely reality television; not sure if the contestants were actors or what but this didn't feel legit, and honestly was dumb asf. Would rather see actual behind the scenes instead of this waste of time.

First few series really good. Latest is so dark and disappointing. Are they different writers?
