Fred Savage IS this show

The only other bright spot is Billy Eichner. Without them this show is talky talky talky talky talky garbage. This show is literally a Woody Allen gabfest processed through an episode of How I Met Your Mother.

Fairly good start

A good set up for the series, introducing the characters and giving some back story and present drama. A few laughs, but could have been funnier.

Surprised at such a low score, I thought this was a great pilot!

The show is currently sitting on a 6.7, which seems ridiculous to me, the directing was good, the writing was good, the acting was good. It set up all of the characters pretty well, although it does tend to pull me out of the show a bit when it seems like there's a forced sense of diversity (the friendship group has the white, the Asian, the black, the gay etc. not that that's an issue at all, I just don't like when things are written like that because people would be offended if they weren't).

The story progressed pretty naturally, the plot was set up well and overall executed well too, I'm surprised people aren't really getting into this. The cinematography was great too, really nicely shot.

Overall probably an 8.5/10! Looking forward to where this show goes, give it a try!

What a waste of time

I cannot believe that such well respected actors would attach their names to this production. I ended up fast forwarding through the entire series hoping that I was wrong and that somehow the writers would 'pick up their socks' and save this very slap stick, over the top juvenile potty humor, senseless waste of time series. But that did not happen...it actually got worse with time. Will not waste my time with season 2. Seriously folks...........we can do SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS.
