• Marco Diaz : So it all comes down to this. Sixteen years. A lot of clones. Seemed to go by like that.

  [snaps his fingers] 

  Marco Diaz : I finally tracked you down, Hekapoo.

  Hekapoo : Yeah, it's the real me. No more clones. So...

  Marco Diaz : [draws back his hood]  Who's a little boy now?

  Hekapoo : This is the part where you blow out my flame.

  [Marco sits down with a smug expression on his face] 

  Marco Diaz : Heh. You barely escaped me on the exploding flames of Flendar. And when I lost your trail in the mist of the Neverzone, I thought I'd never find you. After spending a few years infiltrating a cloister of munks, I acquired some ancient texts, which led me to a dimensional scholar who taught me to translate their language. After that, it was a simple matter of surviving the afflicted forest, and ending up right at your door.

  [stands up and walks up to Hekapoo while he speaks, before finally blowing out her flame] 

• [last lines] 

  [Marco looks around his bedroom after returning from the other dimension after sixteen years, looking at what for him is a room almost from another lifetime, but also a room that still is untouched since the last time he saw it. He walks to his computer, touching it, and it reveals the sign-in screen. He looks at the text box reading 'Password'] 

  Marco Diaz : [incredulously]  Password? I don't remember my password...

  [he sighs before going to and sitting down on his bed, where he picks up the hamburger he was eating before he left. He takes a bite] 

  Marco Diaz : Hm. Still warm.

  [he is then approached by the laser dogs, who bark and whimper, clearly wanting him to take them for a walk] 

  Marco Diaz : [in a quiet, but accepting voice]  Alright. Let's go for a walk.

  [he picks up the leashes, and he and the dogs walk out of the room] 

• Marco Diaz : Please, take care of Nachos while I'm gone.

  [hugs the dragoncycle, who purs at the embrace, a tear falling from its eye] 

  Hekapoo : She's in good hands.

  Marco Diaz : Adios, boo boo.

• Marco Diaz : [after Star finally finds him]  It took me sixteen years, but I totally earned these scissors.

  [shows Star the dimensional scissors he got from Hekapoo] 

  Star Butterfly : Wait, wait, wait! Sixteen years? You've been gone from Earth for, like, eight minutes.

  Marco Diaz : [angry]  Eight minutes?

  Hekapoo : Yeah, I forgot to tell you that time passes differently in this dimension. Not sorry.

  Star Butterfly : No, no, no, this is good! It means you haven't missed anything back on Earth. Come on. Use your new scissors to take us home.

  Marco Diaz : Yeah, about that. I don't think I'm coming back. Turns out I really like my new life here. I got my sword, my dragoncycle, I get to ride around all day and go on adventures whenever I want. It's the journey, ya know.

  Star Butterfly : Yeah, that dragoncycle is pretty dope... No, wait, wait! What about your parents? Or your friends? Or... me!

  [Marco suddenly looks uncertain about what do. He looks at his dragoncycle, who clearly gives its approval by purring softly. He then looks down at his scissors, which shows himself on one of the blade reflections and Star on the other. Then he looks at Star, who smiles warmly. Marco smiles back, before looking to Hekapoo] 

  Hekapoo : Don't look at me. Those scissors are yours now. You can come back here any time you want.

  [Marco makes a portal back to Earth with his scissors]
