Just Wow...Best Cartoon Season Finale I've Ever Seen
rafaelsimpsons15 March 2017
This season 2 of Star Vs the Forces of Evil has been more clinical and more intense. from silly adventure in season 1, now it's getting more story-arc format, more serious adventure, more awkward thing and more shipping (?).

this episode take place after "Face the Music", when Star and Marco now are avoiding each other awkwardly after Ruberiot revealed Star's crush to Marco in Song's day. in other plot, the Magic Commissions are trying to find Glossaryk and the spell book when they are encountering Ludo.

this episode was speechless, tbh. I really love all the aspects written in this episodes. the awkward teen relationship was written well, the fight of Toffee vs Moon was very intense and epic, Lekmet's and Star sacrifices was very emotional, and the decision to put cliffhanger and silence outro was genius. very genius. I honestly still shook with this, especially the ending when Star had to leave Earth for Mewnies, leaving goodbye's words " I do have a crush on you", to Marco. it really shook everyone, including the fandom.

honestly, when we talks about best cartoon season finale, we would discuss about Sozin's Comet, Weirmageddon, or some titles they've known, but this is no joke, and should be on the discussion. really, people, watch this episodes ( for better feel, watch Face the Music before Starcrushed ) and you will try not to cry ( or worse, try to be not frantic)

My favorite episode, yet again!

Warning: Spoilers
Well, this is it people. After months of binge watching this show, I've finally watched the latest episode. I guess you could compare this to something like "Gravity Falls" and "Dipper And Mabel Vs. The Future" with how shocking it is. It isn't a series finale, but is a perfect season finale. This episode features Star becoming awkward around Marco because a song claimed she was in love with him. We get to see her summon her friends who go to another party with Oscar. I admit he looks weird with that haircut. I love getting to know Oscar more, seeing as how he started off as Star's crush.

The best parts are more when the Magic Council go to Ludo and try to get back Glossaryck. What's amazing is how powerful Ludo or should I say, Toffee has become. This is why cartoons have great villains like this. He defeats all the other characters, even Hekapoo. Yeah, I just love her so much I have to take note of her. It looks as though Lekmet has sacrificed his life to help Queen Butterfly, but I doubt he's dead. The best part is probably the epic fight between her and Toffee/Ludo. Before that, we even get great scenes where she talks sensibly to Ludo. I guess it could have been built up a bit more, but is still great.

The most powerful part is the final scene. Remember that one, Mom? I showed it to you where it features Star finally confess that she has a crush on Marco. You could easily see how jealous she was of Jackie. She was afraid of not spending time with Marco as he had an official girlfriend. Well, I still have yet to see Marco use the scissors he literally spent sixteen years. Yep, this episode finally dethrones that one as my favorite episode. It's so worth it to see Star finally gain the courage to confess her love to her best friend. Don't worry. I'm fairly certain Marco will find a use for those scissors. Trust me, dude. It was worth those sixteen years just to be able to follow Star...

Oh, and Oscar's keyboard falls down at the end. ****

The Best Season Finale
kaisanikkanen29 July 2018
Star ditches the Diaz family's summer vacation party in attempt to avoid having to confess her feelings to Marco; The Magical High Commission hunt down Ludo/Toffee in an abandoned magical temple.

Both the first and the third season finales ("Storm the Castle" and "Conquer") include action, emotion and drama; however, the second season's finale episode, while maintaining these themes, manages to use already familiar storylines (Star and Marco's relationship, Ludo and Toffee as the main antagonists of the series, etc.), and braid them wonderfully together into a satisfying episode.

The episode brings the storyline into a more serious setting, introducing darker magic, painful confessions and sudden revelations. The first season included more energetic and light-hearted tones, whereas the following seasons brought the series into a darker spotlight.

Said episode moreover includes one of the most thrilling magical battles that the writers have offered us, in spite of including neither Star nor Marco, who usually are the sources for adventures and magic.

Throughout the entire series we see the progression of Star and Marco's relationship. "Starcrushed" manages to develop their relationship by exposing them to awkwardness and emotional confessions. The pair is usually together in harmony, however, by using the previous episode's ("Face the Music") conclusion - in which Ruberiot, Star's princess song composer, reveals Star's feelings for Marco - the writers use a thrilling formula based on the "will-they-won't-they"-question.

One complaint, however, is the lack of action regarding Star and Marco. The episode is beyond entertaining, nonetheless, due to the emotional moments that are introduced through Star. The conclusion to the episode is furthermore thrilling, exciting and satisfying, as it brings Star and Marco into darker adventures and magic.

I'm screaming star is gone
kcangel8 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Wow.....wow....wow.... bravo!! I have to say star vs. the forces of evil really kicked ass with their season finale because it had everything emotional and began to turn dark real fast throughout the end with the no outro and silence in the background. Making me believe star was the symbol or metaphor of light and radiated happiness and beauty into the world for Marco, but now that she is gone the world is completely dark and the only thing you can hear is the sounds of fire engines(fire maybe from all the chaos?) and crickets. It's just plan dark and Almost played with your emotions.

This is the episode that started it all. It starts to develop with the ships(may I say Starco) and how he actually is with Jackie right now, but we all know star is crushed or should I say Starcrushed. The emotions and the way Disney put this together was just beautiful and I have no words, no words. From the last episode Ruggiero had already sang the song about star's desire for Marco's love and now that was put out Disney totally made a twist. Marco is in love with Jackie's image of what he truly loved in kindergarten and got to live his fantasy, but the real question is he in love with star? And we certainly get some hints throughout the show that he might be in love with star.

Some parts of the show get a little different, star lost her desire for Oscar and is almost emotionally heart broken that Marco is not only with a cool chick, but Star has already been friends with Jackie and has nothing mean to say about her. It just truly breaks my heart. There is this huge scene where the mother is trying to find Ludo and we find out his sad backstory(poor Ludo) to where she begins to fight her battle. It's a battle with toffee the most malicious and down right mean villain in star. He's coming back for his finger now star must leave earth to fight toffee(next season)

This is where the shipping has began and the chairs turn she reveals her crush for Marco. "I I do have a crush on you I didn't wanna admit it because I know you don't feel the same and now I have to leave earth" *tears* This seen was super emotional for star and when she runs in her room Marco leaves Jackie dumbfounded and he yells Star where all the magic has disappeared. The house is gone, she's gone forever. Boy this season finale really hit me hard because there was so much chaos and so much darkness. They even got rid of that fun outro song and I was ready to sing until all I heard was silence. Even I was trapped in my own silent thoughts with that outro. Bravo bravo! Best season finale yet.
