Well, this is telenovela after all. I've seen a lot of show that are, well, just bad, and this is another show overflowed with drama and unrealistic events. And yet somehow are showing a good action and, let's say a decent storyline (not really, but...telenovelas, so let's go with that). Some of the actors are quite good and known from earlier work, so I guess that kept me going.
The show is not bad at all, I like it to some level, but in some episodes there is just TOO MUCH drama.
Watchable, but ugh!! Yes, but ugh.

unbelievable story

I watched the estreno of La Piloto II and I was disappointed because of some ridiculous details that left me shaking my head. Supposedly Yolanda Cadenas is in a Witness Protection Program yet she keeps her first name, Yolanda, and is fairly easily found by Lucio's lawyer. Really? I'm pretty certain the Witness Protection Program won't let you keep your same first name and it's unlikely that someone will be able to locate you with an online search.
It also was absurd that Yolanda, the pilot of the airplane, leaves the cockpit and becomes borderline hysterical in front of the passengers just as the plane is descending to LA while the copilot tells her to get back in the cockpit. Pretty sure that it was decades ago that something like that might have been reasonable to imagine could happen but not in 2018.
The fact that Yolanda could actually get a job as a commercial pilot, having been linked with narcos and drug traffickers, is pretty much fantasyland stuff too.
I really enjoyed La Piloto and I understand it's a novela and not supposed to be "real", but at least try to give some credibility in the details and storyline. Definitely not a stong start which is unfortunate.

decent just at the begining

The show began decent, even when there are a lot of minor details like Dave Mejia showing the badge the other way around (the badge is visible only for himself), phone call scenes where Oscar is speaking and the phone screen is on, so it touches and changes what is visible in the screen, and a lot more.
However, after episode 1x60 it became unwatchable. 80% of every episode is just flashbacks, nothing happens. It literally shows a flashback on every conversation between any two characters.
On the other hand, we see how Yolanda learns strategy, and thinks everything before going to action, there's even one episode she talks on the radio to someone she isn't sure who it is, and names a random guy to see if the other person knew who it is, discovering indeed it wasn't who she think it was. In season 2, she has a totally different personality, she only follows her feeling, never uses her brain and she cries on every episode, at least in the first 15 of the season, there isn't a single one without a crying scene from her. Really?

In order to understand season 2 you really have to watch season 1. If you like novelas this one is great. I like it because it's not "real". Sometimes realistic shows get boring. There is a lot of action and romance lots of twists and turns - there is something exciting and gripping in every episode. Es una verdadera locura. The only thing I don't like is that some of the characters from season 1 are played by different actors in season 2.
Terrible directing and lousy writing

I know telenovelas are borderline cartoonish daytime lunacy, but this goes beyond ridiculous:
Ex 1) "We've come to search for a baby" cop in scene looks inside a box and another inside a bookshelf
Ex 2) A: "we know you ran her over" B: "it was accident, even though she's my friend I thought it wise to leave her on the ground" A: "oh okay, I trust you now. Let me tell you where our hideout is"
I know telenovelas are dumb but seriously this is insulting.
Then the overuse of flashbacks had be fast forwarding every 5 mins. Can't the writers come up with better ways to recap a pivotal bit of information. Actors looking out into empty space to set these off became ever more annoying!
I can go on and on.
Save time and do or watch something better than this visual garbage.

I just couldn't take it serious

Too much drama and unrealistic events. A soap opera rather than a Narcos type of film. The story behind is good but the producers just ruined it by making it a novella focusing on appearances rather than the truthfulness behind the story.
I watched for a while
