I watched it all in the hopes that something would happen. Nothing is resolved by the end - mum's disappearance, the video, a box of trainers goes missing and the delivery guy is virtually the last character we see. We don't even know where these shoes came from.
It's really about a load of inconsequential lives with no interest outside of them. We don't even know how the queerbashers find out who shot the video. All along the way there's a load of idle chitchat between friends and acquaintances and complete cul-de-sacs such as installing a secret surveillance system, something that has no relevance to the plot, such as it is, and moves the film on not a jot.
We get some revelations during the film but there's nothing that's a hook to reel us in. I was waiting and hoping for some excitement or action, perhaps hanky panky, but even that was handled with "discretion".
There are far better films from Brazil to watch. I'd advise giving this one a miss.
