Spoiler Alert: Details follow for Season 11, Episode 13 of “The Masked Singer,” “Finale: One Mask Takes It All,” which aired May 22 on Fox.
“The Masked Singer” winner Vanessa Hudgens admits she didn’t necessarily play the hiding game: At least among her friends and fans, they figured out it was her under the Goldfish costume rather quickly.
“Rita [Ora] guessed it was me straight from the jump,” Hudgens said. “But she’s also my friend. And we saw each other a few days before the first episode!”
Hudgens beat out Scott Porter, who had performed this season as Gumball, to win the “Masked Singer” trophy. Coincidentally, both Hudgens and Porter previously starred together in 2009’s “Bandslam.”
Despite their history, Hudgens said the production kept her completely in the dark as to who her competitors were. “I was so invested every step of the way,” she said. “I was trying really hard to...

The new episode of The Masked Singer saw four new competitors take the stage. One unmasking occurred as Afghan Hound was unmasked as Savannah Chrisley after losing the Smackdown to Gumball. However, the two competitors didn’t need to worry about that final round. In reality, it was three, as Beets is this season’s first duo competitor.
Here is a look at Beets and who we think this duo is on The Masked Singer.

The Beets came out as a duo and sang the song, “Home” by Michael Buble. Their performance was well-received and they moved on to the next rounds without worrying about being unmasked this week. When Nick Cannon asked them who they liked from The Wizard of Oz, they said Dorothy and Toto, thanks to their loyalty and friendship.

It was no surprise that the four judges — Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora and Robin Thicke — were wowed by this talent. We’ve been rewatching that first performance plus her clues package and have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Miss Cleocatra”?
We are convinced that Miss Cleocatra is the multi-talented Jenifer Lewis, who has a very distinctive voice, both when speaking and singing. Miss Clecocatra certainly sounded just like Lewis when she purred to host Nick Cannon, “You’re looking good,...

“The Masked Singer” has showcased some memorable duos over the years, beginning with the Snow Owls in season 4, who turned out to be country music legend Clint Black and his wife, actress Lisa Hartman Black. This season a pair of pals are performing as Beets.
They took to the stage for the first time on the March 13 episode and won over the audience and judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora and Robin Thicke with their cover of the Michael Buble hit “Home.”
Beets are two men, each of whom has a distinctive sound but whose voices blend together so effortlessly. It was no surprise when they revealed, “We’re the best of friends and we’re pretty good co-stars too.” That latter phrase led two of the judges down the wrong path with their guesses of Will Arnett & Jason Bateman (Rita) and Steve Martin & Martin Short (Robin). Ken was...

One of our favorite fellows competing on “The Masked Singer” season 11 is disguised as the Ugly Sweater. He wowed the crowd in his first appearance on March 6 with a rollicking rendition of “The Best” by Tina Turner. It became clear quite quickly that this contender is a professional singer. We didn’t get a lot of clues about the famous face hiding behind this mask but we think we saw and heard enough to know his real name.
Keep reading for all “The Masked Singer” spoilers including the answer to the question, “Who is Ugly Sweater”?
We think that the Ugly Sweater is Charlie Wilson, the R&b legend. Don’t agree? Well take a read of how the clues line up with the life of Charlie Wilson.
Ugly Sweater reveals, “I was the epitome of style and on top of the world, but I lost focus and my whole world unraveled.

Are you as happy to see “The Masked Singer” back on TV as we are? As much as we love watching the over-the-top performances on “The Masked Singer,” we get even more pleasure from figuring out the names of the celebrities competing. That is especially true if we can crack the code as to who is hiding inside a costume before the four judges.
Season 11 of “The Masked Singer” is shaping up to be the most competitive yet. The producers packed the line-up with 16 stars. One of our favorites in Week 1 was disguised as Lovebird and he wowed the crowd with his cover of the Phillip Phillips tune “Home.”
We’ve been reviewing the clues and that performance on March 6 and have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Lovebird”?

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched the Season 11 season premiere of “The Masked Singer,” which aired March 6 on Fox.
“The Masked Singer” kicked off its 11th season on Wednesday night — and in perhaps the show’s most unusual reveal ever, comedian Kevin Hart brought his prank war with host Nick Cannon to the show.
Hart brought his one-night-only appearance to “The Masked Singer” as Book, singing the song “So Sick,” by Ne-Yo (who happened to be the Season 10 winner on the show). The performance… was a bit pitchy, dawg. At the end of the song, the show’s panelists seemed to dig it. But after Robin Thicke quickly I.D.’ed Hart, the star took off his costume to reveal himself.
“This is a prank, you had no idea I was coming here Nick, and guess what, there’s nothing you can do about it,...

Annecy — London-based Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe is set to initiate production next week on “Beast Boy: Lone Wolf,” the first time than a DC title that will be made out of the U.K.
The announcement was made at a studio focus for Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, whose fan favourites had a student/exec audience hollering in approval.
Introduced by Sam Register, president of all three companies, the focus must rate at the fastest-paced of all big studio unveils at Annecy, packed by never-seen-before footage of multiple shows. Register didn’t talk strategy: The audience wanted to see shows, and studio execs were excited to show them.
Indirectly, however, the focus said much about the state of animation at Warner Bros. Discovery after it scaled back on originals and restructured organization last year. Some pivots seen at the focus:
*One big Annecy focus highlight was...

How did one oddball TV-Y7 cartoon portend a fraying landscape for Western cartoons in the streaming age? What does it have to do with a CEO strategy of cleansing out a repertoire of cartoons?
"The Amazing World of Gumball" is one bizarre crossbreed on the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Cartoon Network. When I compiled The 10 Best Children's Animated Series Of The [Last] Decade, I had zero hesitation deciding on "The Amazing World of Gumball," which ran from 2011 to 2019 on Cartoon Network for six seasons, for its visual eclecticism and comedic minefield. The brainchild of creator Ben Bocquelet, the cartoon revolves around the exploits of the 12-year-old anthropomorphic cat Gumball Watterson and his brother Darwin Watterson (an adopted sibling who originated as a pet goldfish who grew legs). Their environment of Elmore is a wonderland of different mediums. Living in real-life photo-based environments, the 2D Watterson family interact and clash with a...

It seems like since the merger with Warner Bros, Discovery CEO David Zaslav is not just overseeing the productions of previously announced projects, but he also appears to be cleaning house on movies or TV shows that the company can stand to save some money on. There already have been over 30 titles removed from HBO Max as a result. Now, TV Line is reporting that the six more animated HBO Max/WB animated projects are getting the axe.
The shows are:
Batman: Caped Crusader
This would’ve been a new animated addition to Batman’s ever-growing mythology. It would’ve seen the return of the much regarded Batman: The Animated Series creator, Bruce Timm. J.J. Abrams and Ed Brubaker were to be attached as executive producers along with The Batman director, Matt Reeves. The style looked to be emulating the original 1940s look of the character, and there would...
