On this episode Marcus says he will always be there for Olivia because they are black. However am I the only one who thinks that Olivia does not see herself as black because she's very privileged. She commands and owns the room at all times. So I think the statement shocked her mostly because she doesn't see herself as oppressed. She's rich, she's smart ,has beauty, She's a lawyer and she has power.
But I am rewatching this and I'm glad to see a Viola Davis in this episode. Now that this is almost over I will be re-watching how to get away with murder. I'm glad to see Olivia getting back to normal because season 7 she has been a little too much.
