Tika is ten years old. Her biggest passion is traditional Georgian dancing. She has promised to help a group of disabled children prepare a dance for a show for the town. Each day after school, Tika teaches the children to dance. She wants to help them build their self-esteem and feel the same joy when they dance as she does. But it's difficult for them to remember the steps. Nika, a boy with mental disabilities, has a solo, and he gets very frustrated when he keeps making mistakes. Tika starts to doubt herself. Is she able to succeed? Will the children feel proud of themselves afterwards?

Javed, 11, has dropped out of 2nd grade because his teacher was beating him. He has left home because his mum beats him if he does not make money for the family. Javed now lives on the beach and makes a living together with his friend Shahidul by giving people massage. He almost win a big surf contest and afterwards comes to the conclusion with his best friend and surfing teacher that he will to go back to school as long as he can surf in his spare time and maybe win the next competition so he can make a living from being the best surfer of the beach.

Erdenchimeg (11) has her mind set on becoming a famous contortionist - a specialty of Mongolian acrobats. Her team at the circus school is invited to become part of a prestigious show on the parliament square. But suddenly Erdenchimeg seems incapable of managing her exercise. The prospect of becoming the 'odd one out' on her team is all the more frightening because her dad is imprisoned, her mother is a former drunk and Erdenchimeg was only admitted to the circus school as an act of good will. Not just her own dreams, but also the dignity of her family is at stake. But in the end she finds her inner strength and pulls through.

When 12-year-old Reshat looks around him, he sees the oil fields of Azerbaijan. When he looks up dreamily, he sees pigeons flying to heaven. He misses his father, who died a year ago, and who also loved these birds. Reshat cautiously approaches the best pigeon keeper in the village. Will he teach him to train pigeons? Reshat plays with his friends, visits his father's grave, looks at old photos with his grandmother, and does his homework because his mother tells him to. But he prefers to be with the pigeon keeper. You can see how much he loves it when the birds eat from his hand. Meanwhile Reshat tells us his thoughts, mostly in voice-over. His father taught him that he should be kind to birds, because souls fly to heaven on their wings. While Reshat is learning all about pigeons, he discovers what he really wants.
