Episode 203

Warning: Spoilers
It was not that there was anything that bad or wrong with this episode, but the show is moving at such a slow and prodding pace, possibly intentionally, but not to my liking.

So far this series is not living up to the quality of the first.

Crawling

Another slow mover with things moving at a slow pace, psychology playing a big role for Marcella personally while the case seems to be achieving little accept aggravating people of interest. Again it could have a faster pace and be shown in fewer episodes.

Psychotic Behavior
Hitchcoc17 June 2018
We are now introduced to the modus operandi of the perpetrator. His/Her victims are having wooden coins surgically implanted in their abdomens. Then they are being lobotomized and left to die. We are reminded that Marcella lost a daughter and there is something that she is trying to dredge up in her memory banks. It is also causing her to obsess over the cases of these children and the adults that are connected to them.

Too much.
Sleepin_Dragon14 August 2020
The case is dragging on, Marcella and team are struggling to find any leads, other than the glaringly obvious one.

Not hugely enjoyable, I'd say it's overdoing the gruesome and harrowing, we are made to watch that poor boy free himself, and we see a poor pregnant woman hounded by journalists.

I can't find fault with the acting or production, but the story itself is overstepping the mark somewhat. 5/10.
