This is not the most promising of openers. Maybe it was a mistake to label the show as a comedy with an rather violent opening scene.

Jack Whitehall plays a nerdy dweeb Barnaby Walker. A disappointment to his father (Robert Lindsay) who is lying unconscious in hospital after a mysterious incident.

While his father is laid low, Barnaby minds the antiques shop. This includes paying 50k to some random stranger for some statues looted by a terrorist group.

Luckily his sister Leah (Charity Wakefield) had recently come into close contact with an American bounty hunter Nina Morales (Rosie Perez.)

Nina is happy to fly into London to get their money back. After all she needs to get out of the USA after a job went wrong and is hunted by some gangsters.

This is a fish out of water mismatched odd couple action comedy drama. The trouble is, it is Barnaby with his microcar who is the fish out of water in his own backyard. Nina gets used to the low lifes of London pretty fast.

Whitehall is not stretched here as the upper class posh type who is studying for a Phd and is a bit of a laughing stock.

Nina leaves her family in danger back in New York and weirdly Rosie Perez looks only slightly younger than the actress playing her mother.

There is not much comedy here. In one scene some ISIS terrorists turn up and brutally kill someone. You care less about stupid Barnaby as well.
