Honest

Thank you for letting me take part on this journey. Very honest and heartfelt. I salute Casey for his determination and willingness to find and share the stories of lives just as valuable as the next but so often neglected. Casey's persona is a rear gift, and hopefully he will continue to share these types of stories. Perhaps starting with the tapes in the box. There must be more gems to be found in there...

Authentic, Surprising & Shocking

This film takes you from humble beginnings to a crashing finale through a crescendo of international travel, heartache, laughter and surprise.

The film's authenticity is emphasised by the fact that it seems to have happened almost by mistake. With a shaky camera, Ale begins to document Casey and his peculiarities and stories because he seems to spot something alive and different in Casey. We begin to see his point...

As his confidence grows, Ale's camera captures Casey with the care and commitment that a biologist might have for studying a rare species in the jungle.

And yes, there's a love Ale shows for Casey as he chronicles his life and it's that which affected me. It reminded me that a special bond between two men is definitely as worthy and as gripping a basis for a story as the next "classic" romance.
