The series is about three Chinese women, two basically broken, trying hard to make ends meet in London, and one freshly coming from Hong Kong (or something like that), full of money and without anything in her mind.
The main characters recalled me of "The Powerpuff Girls" (1998). One of the women is more self-aware, the other is sweet and the third is tough.
The self-aware has a stupid job, with a sexist boss that she doesn't outright sue for harassment only because she really needs the money. She's been pushed all her life to be the best of the best and lives miserable for not being able to fulfill the expectations, drowning herself in wine.
The sweet one seems absent-minded, like a loose ball on a pinball game, but does things that are actually very smart, though very random.
The tough one is an unknown actress, fighting against a system that gives her only stereotyped roles.
Unfortunately, putting them together doesn't make much sense and, ultimately, makes the sum less fun than the individual parts. It's not as horrible as many have expressed.
Is this series worth watching? It's not my cup of tea, even though I've watched some really crazy stuff through my life. and liked most of them.
