EXEGGERATED
putriroroamelia12 May 2018
Way too exeggerated!!!!!>.. My expectations were high for this movie as the trailer was not that bad. For the cinematography, I'll give this a 8/10, but for the acting. I think this movie only promotes their faces as eurasians (except for the orly gurl).. I think the little eurasian girl is not that bad, but still... The rest totally ruined it. The oriental girl is not supposed to be an actress, she is more like a model material. She should start a career in modeling. And this movie should be telling about kids in Indonesia, but instead it's a western trying to be. K'mon, big movies like this are not all about just a pretty face... Train them first

I'm sorry for my harsh opinion. I am so so so sorry... I hope they can improve

Cringey

Its not representing millennials, but more of exaggerating hipster culture. Im an Indonesian Millennial and I cant relate to anything on this film. Millennials are portrayed as troublemakers, a generation that dont respect older generations and other nonsense stereotypes. Maybe I could accept it if the title was "My Hipster Generation".

Millenial what?
najlaaisha2 July 2018
First of all, the message from this film is cool but i have so much expectations for this, I thought that it'll be about millenials generation but what actually is this? They try so hard to be edgy, exaggerating anything, complaining about nonsense. And it's so cringe when the parents put too much effort to be the kind of 'parents this kid nowadays hated'.

As a millenials I cannot relate this at all.

Problematic stereotype on millennial
vxhrsmsjq21 January 2022
While i appreciate the movie's attempt to highlight the generational gap, it is undeniable that the movie simultaneously perpetuates the false stereotype of Indonesian millennials. The movie is biased towards the view of upper income Jakartan, blurring the diversity in millennial generation into one group of "socially awoke western educated teenagers with mere concern of getting adults' acknowledgement". What a shame!
