I was intrigued by this show. AMC has a history of high brow TV with Mad Men and Breaking Bad, but could this be the next one?

Possibly. When you are dealing with the subject matter of weight, something that is a big deal now and will probably always be a big deal, it is a sensitive issue and one that is hard to create entertainment value around, but this show might do that.

This is different and unique and not like anything else on the air right now. For that I am curious to see where it heads.

I usually don't get hooked with a show after just episode, but damn! Since the show has such bad ratings i assumed the worst, but now im thinking the people who rated this are the ones threatend by it, im guessing mostley men. So women-folk, give this show just one episode, you'll love it!
