Okay first half, great second half

First half was decent. Moon's father is always fun but there just wasn't quite enough to sustain approximately fifteen minutes.

Loved the second half. Given how inflexible Queen Moon was, I was surprised that she'd team up with Queen Eclipsa. It was nice to see more of Moon's sympathetic side. They made a fun odd couple. Also nice to see them continue with the mystery of the Moon family history so quickly.

Second part was great

"The Bogbeast of Boggabah" focuses on Star's father, River. I admit he isn't one of my favorite characters...but Star is! There were some quite funny moments in this. Unfortunately, it came off as a little dull and pointless. It's still by no means bad. It's just that it wasn't important to the story as a whole. ***

"Total Eclipsa The Moon" features Eclipsa and it's a great episode because of her! She seems to be moving up on my list of favorite characters in the show. She looks so adorable in her pajamas. It was also great to focus on Queen Moon. I don't know, something about her running around in her poofy gown just amuses me. I don't know what role Festivia will play. ****
