Wow!!! I've been watching this show with Christiane Amanpour on PBS since it 1st aired in 2018. And her show before that from 2009 to 2018.

I Love her and how she has multiple guests from both sides to discuss issues covered on this show. One of the Few News shows you can actually Trust in this Ridiculous Age of BS NEWs ... You know who you are FOX and Newsmax! :o Christiane has journalistic integrity, a moral compass, and dignity, things that is dying in the USA. You'll Never see her go off on some Unhinged and Ridiculous Screaming RANT! She will actually convey what we are actual seeing on News clip video and Not try to say it's the Complete OPPOSITE of What all OuR EYES are Witnessing, like other News casters these days.

She's like an Endangered Species. Literally and Figuratively.

I keep her in my prayers as she battles with her health issues. We can't afford to lose more people like her. :(

Insightful and educational
I don't care for the news, because there's so much going on (mostly negative), and it gets overwhelming. However, I watch this to catch up on what's happening in the world of politics. The View is okay, but it's too subjective. Just like every other talk show, it's more or less for entertainment, than for obtaining information or becoming intellectually enlightened. You're only hearing one perspective. Amanpour & Company, on the other hand, takes a deep dive into global issues. Experts and authors are interviewed within the fields of foreign affairs, technology, and business. Christiane Amanpour is so professional. She doesn't interrupt or talk over the guests, or try to force her opinions on them, and she asks thought-provoking questions. If people are going to discuss current events, I can do without them shouting at the camera or telling jokes, like mispronouncing a politician's last name on purpose to make it sound goofy (I'm referring to Joy Behar. I know she's a comedian, but doing that on national TV is childish). I don't need to be wound up, or laugh. With all of the anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, gun violence that's plaguing communities, and people who have OUD (opioid use disorder) being stigmatized when they go to the ER for help, there's nothing funny about the state of our country. If you like to get your news from social media, and/or random websites where nothing is fact-checked, be my guest - but I prefer to hear an unbiased take on things. Considering we're living in an age of fearmongering, I'm thankful for this show, and PBS in general.

Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this show on Nov 4th on PBS, and was amazed and horrified how disgusting it was! Huma Abedin is a hero! Umm HELL NO. The Dakota pipeline was the devil! Umm HELL NO. Huma is an absolute disgrace and a monster like her husband and her boss. Energy self sufficiency is a primary strength of any civilized country.

Very one sided show. Believes everything left is the truth. And everything to the right is a lie.

When in fact both sides are lying to us. The truth is in the middle somewhere.
