Here literally magnum is the only reason higgins is still alive. Is a episode that changes the relationship between them(before this they were more boss and employee)and everything becomes more serious. I loved this episode¡¡¡¡

Procedure to respond to S.O.S. (Save Our Ship). Receive S.O.S., get exact Coordinates. Set Frequency to Emergency Coast Guard, call Coast Guard "CQ, CQ, this is T.R. Belle" wait for response, keep calling and pausing waiting for response.

After Coast Guard responds, "Coast Guard this is T.R. Belle, Coordinates, we are Responding to S.O.S. of name of boat, ship, at Coordinates, acknowledge". Coast Guard then acknowledges your Coordinates name of Ship, Boat, name of s.O.S. Ship or Boat and Coordinates". The Coast Guard then plots you and S.O.S. on maps, contacts Coast Guard Boats, Ships, in area and or sends Helicopter, may contact Civilian Boats, Ships or even U.S. Navy Ships in area. In extreme cases they may contact PACOM (Pacific Command) for U.S. Military Assistance.

From Training as a U.S. Military Joint Services Special Warfare Officer, the method to swim long distances is to backstroke no arms, just legs (below water as not to splash and attract sharks). If you are wearing pants, you create a life vest to keep your head slightly elevated while backstroking. If you have military gear (backpack) to use as flotation you put this backwards on your chest, and backstroke. Every couple of minutes you glance to see if you are going in the right direction.

I would reveal why named T.R. Belle, nah.

Entertainment Value 4, so much fun to watch what the Screenwriters, Scriptwriters come up with, as to what they believe U.S. State of Hawaii is like.

Oh, my Gawd!

The song is "Lil Bebe" by DaniLeigh and Lil Baby. The episode was so boring, I resorted to Shazam. Wouldn't Higgins have been in agony with an open wound in salt water? Just sayin. I hadn't watched this show in months, and it hasn't improved. With a cast this good, they really need to pick up the pace--or something. Isn't it a bit early for a flashback episode? But it's a pleasant enough time-passer.

Somebody asked about the name of the boat. Riddle me this: I assume it was named for Dudley Sutton's character on Lovejoy, by way of J. M. Barrie, of course. If you still don't get it, maybe you should ask Walt Disney? Magnum is the image of a grown-up Peter Pan, and his crew are the Lost Boys. Does that make Perdita Wendy? Barrie also wrote "The Admirable Crichton," which is about a group of people stranded on an island. But the reference here seems to be closer to "Swept Away." All right, put down your pencils and submit your answers.

Take 2
dwtsf-126 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Good episode, however the plot is VERY similar to an episode of the original series. Magnum is stranded at sea, treading water to stay alive, while no one knows where he is (turns out July 4th is a holiday he likes to spend in solitary). He reflects on the day his father was killed in World War 2. Higgins, T.C., and Rick each sense Magnum is in danger and come to the rescue.
