Sex & Nudity

  • A 14-year-old girl flirts with a 20-something guy. In the only sex scene, she watches him masturbate. We only see her face and hear sound effects as he unsuccessfully urges her to touch herself.
  • No nudity in this movie.
  • A group of older teen girls talks for a minute or two in vulgar terms about what they do and don't like sexually, such as fingering, f**king, jerking off, and "tit licking."

Violence & Gore

  • A girl wears a patch over an injured eye, but we never see the recovering eye itself except at a distance. There's nothing gory about it.
  • Nothing gorier than some raw bloody meat from the butcher shop. A dead animal on the beach has been mauled but isn't bloody.

Profanity

  • A couple of uses of "fuck" and "damn".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One person smokes a cigarette once, briefly. No alcohol or other drugs obvious.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • None, the entire movie has a very low-key feeling.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A girl hangs a bag of raw meat off a boat and sets it running, implicitly hoping that the owner, who swims after it, will be eaten by sharks.
