It's so hard to write a script to make unsympathetic characters (like addicts) into people you care about. I hate hate hate SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and DUMB AND DUMBER (other shows by Farrelly), to the exact degree that I love love love this show. This has the MOST differently-abled cast you'll ever see. There is one character with a prominent birthmark on her face-and no one has mentioned it. It's not a plot point. It's not anything.
Mugsy's (Reagan) character arc over the past few episodes has been astonishing. No spoiler alerts, but even as a comedian, Reagan has had me in tears several times; in this ep he is on fire. I've guffawed out loud at some of the subtle, off-the-cuff wit (ad libbed or scripted? I CAN'T TELL, it's so good). Where has Will Sasso been all my life? I cannot wait for another season. Please tell me there's another season???
